Three Kingsport ladies recently returned from a mission trip in Haiti on January 1st.
Cassie Allen, Casey Garrett, and Anitra Moody, all nurses, volunteered their services to help those in need of medical attention.
While they were serving in the country, the women told us they witnessed some amazing things.
"I knew we came to save lives, but when you see it happen and you're the one helping, you're just in awe that God would allow you to do such a thing," said Garrett.
They mainly treated people with cholera - a bacterial infection. No Comments

Probably will only get to email once daily or every other day.  Tomorrow we are going to a special needs orphanage.  Excited.  Today  they lost a little boy, very sad.   But I knew God had a plan for me, I met a guy from Tennessee while we were singing Christmas carols and introducing their selfs. He is going to be adopting a little boy. God is doing a great work!

I am leaving early in the morning with my (Lance's) aunt  Judy Pope.  We are both RNs going to Haiti to help in Jesus name through Samaritan's Purse.  Please pray for us as you read this.  On December 27th several other nurses that are friends of mine will be joining us.  Their names are Cassie Allen, Anitra Moody, and Shannon Bishop. This will be their first medical missions as well as their first trip out of the country.  Please pray for them as well.  I will try if there is internet access to update this daily.  Thank you for your prayers.
